Austin graduates from Magnet Cove High School this May. He raises cows and pigs through FHA at his high school. He is training his German Shepard for search and rescue. He participated in the search and rescue efforts with the Albert Pike flooding. He plans to attend the U of A at Fayetteville and become a large animal vet. He is also my cousin. We are all very proud of the man he is becoming!!!

I went to the Farmer's Market this past Tuesday to take pictures for a downtown living ad. I love, love, love the old man with his cucumber friend. Everybody should make an effort to go downtown to support our local farmers. It's every Tuesday & Saturday morning from 7am - 3pm.

For the past four years, one of my good friends does the media planning for Eggsibition, so I take pictures for the spotlight articles for various local magazines. This year Beth Beam was one of the local artists featured. Here is a little info on what Eggsibition is, and how you can help the Youth Home. Eggshibition, Youth Home’s annual springtime fundraiser, will be held Friday, March 26, 2010, at the Jack Stephens Center on UALR’s campus. Eggshibition has become one of Little Rock’s most special and high profile annual auction events. The area’s leading artists, as well as new and emerging artists, will create egg-shaped masterpieces. Celebrity eggs will be featured, signed by figures from the worlds of sports and entertainment. The “Eggs in Schools” program will feature eggs decorated by local high school art students. The spring season event will also feature themed gift baskets and a premier auction of fabulous parties, luxurious trips and other eggstra-ordinary items. The 19^th anniversary theme is Eggshibition XIX “Wings of Hope.” Regular tickets are $50 and patron tickets are $75. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Come enjoy the eggs-quisite art, hors d’oeuvres and libations.

My Noodle Bug

This is my noodle bug......Her real name is Hazel, but she earned her nickname quickly. She lays in the most awkward positions ever! This is her favorite spot. It pretty much is her chair. She is always very curious about what is going on out the window. She usually hops down before I can grab my camera, but I finally had my bag sitting right next to me. I'm so glad I finally captured this picture. She is super sweet & a licker!!!

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with one of my best friends and her children. We hung out around the green hills by the Clinton Library. It was VERY hot, so we decided to cool off at the Peabody Park Fountain. If you have not been to this park, you should take your kids. I know Kyal, Hayes, Van & even their mom Laura had a great time!!!!
